The ONLY Paint that is used on these remarkable Likenesses is STRICTLY for markings/collars/ribbons/brow bands, and accent borders, backgrounds etc...
Using a technique developed by Myself, the stain is literally Burnt Right Into the Wood. Then sealed with no less than 5 coats of clear Polyurethane for a deep luster. Creating Your Very Own

I created this process about 10 years ago and since then I have sold well over 350 portraits on many different wood surfaces.
I've created straight portraits ranging in sizes from 5 x 7 to large hanging wall portraits. Designer Portrait Purses, Placemats, Clocks, napkin holders, Memorial Plaques, Remote Control Caddy, Memory plaques, Shadow boxes, Kitchen Canisters, Recipe boxes, Tack/Groom boxes, Door welcome signs, Bridle Racks, Stall Plaques, Leash Holders, Photo Album Cover, Key holders, Coasters, Mailboxes, Doggy Travel Cases, Pet Urns, Company Logo plaques, Spritual and Bible Carry Cases.
And I have just introduced my new line of Portrait Purses, you can choose Wood, Canvas or Leather Purse Styles to have your Portraits embellished on.
